I only started IF a few days ago and with today being my birthday I decided to have a day off with eating healthy, but I now feel bad about it already seeing as it’s not even been a full week of doing IF. I broke my fast this morning around 11:30am and it’s now 6:34pm but I’ve decided to stop my eating window now. Any advice on how long to fast after eating crap?
Not sure how that was cheating? Because Chinese wasn’t on your eating plan or because your window was too big?
Either way, it was your birthday. Celebrate fully. Then go back on tomorrow.

The beauty of IF is that it is still effective as far as I can tell with occasional lapses. Enjoy the treat and move on. The important thing is that you have started. I would just resume your regular routine
