Started my fasting journey with a 72h fast, amazed at how much it helped my chronic pain!

37f 5’4, not a scale user. Last time I checked I was close to 215. I initially intended to bone broth cleanse for 3 days for joint health. Ended up drinking water, green tea and electrolytes with bone broth only once a day.

I just wanted to say that I am so happy with how my chronic foot pain (PF) has almost completely cleared! I believe the 72h greatly improved my inflammation and my feet are so happy about it. I’ve been browsing this sub the last few days so thought I’d introduce myself and share how excited I am to have unexpectedly dropped this pesky debilitating chronic pain!

I’m currently on a 36h (no bone broth) fast after one whole day of eating freely. I will prob do another 72h cleanse next week with no bone broth.

2 questions; What are your thoughts on bone broth with IF? What are your thoughts on electrolytes with IF?

Answer

I can’t answer your questions but you need to figure out what foods are causing the pain and eliminate those ongoing. Maybe do an elimination diet.

Congratulations on your success so far. You are doing awesome.
