Starting 8 day water fast after a long break and 2 succesful 15 and 21 water fasts!

i’ve done 2 water fasts before: First one and second one. These are the electrolytes I took last time and will start taking at day 3 or 4.

Took a break from even checking my weight or even trying to keep it under control and it went up a bunch again to my starting weight. I remember how uncomfortable this weight is so I’m at it again.

I believe once I’m at my goal weight I need to maintain for atleast 6 months with a healthy eating habit otherwise I’ll just keep being stuck in this cycle.

I’ve tried a few times to start a water fast but I never bothered making a post (also because I’m quite annoyed and ashamed at myself that I failed to keep my weight down and maintain the weight…)

Anyways, no better moment to start than yesterday and the second best time is right now so that’s why i’m making a post. I noticed keeping track day by day and writing it down on reddit really REALLY helped me out last time to keep it going so I’ll be updating my post just like I did before.

It’s a bit impromptu so I didn’t actually weigh myself this morning. I believe it’ll be around 104kg/229lb again sigh….

Weigh-ins (I always weigh myself in the morning when the day itself starts):

(Day 1) 7 november: did not weigh myself but I believe maybe 104kg/229lb?

Answer

1- Good job for taking charge of your health, the first time, the second time and today!

2-I believe it’s a shame free space here: On one hand, many would not be posting here if they believe that they would be judged badly. On the other hand, we trust fellow fasters to react and let us know if we go to far and weight or methods seem self-harming. This is why people will advise you here to take electrolytes and such.

3- Try, fail, try again, fail better.

Trust me, anyone who has done high performance sports knows about failing better. We’ll be Rocky to your Adonis Creed : We’ll be with you along the way. Just ask for what you need: advice, testimonials, cheers.

Cheers!
