Starting for the first time

I’m a 30M 5’11, 330lbs starting for the first time tomorrow. I’ve read about it and have a very basic general understanding, but that’s about it. Any advice on which plan, tricks and tips, etc would be greatly appreciated

Start with a fairly open window 12:12 or longer. Work on getting the fasting part down and switching to healthier eating habits. Take your time and start to shorten your eating window as you go along. Try to eat as healthy as you can, but incorporate some treats so you’re not denying yourself anything. Denying can lead to bingeing. Try to get to 18:6 and see how that works for you. Fast clean, eat healthy - you’ve got this!

That’s it. No diet or sugar free drinks. No juice. No sports drinks. No broth. No fancy powdered mixes. No smoothies. Just water, black coffee or tea, until you break your fast.

Fasting “dirty” will mess up your results. Start with a small window! Like 12:12

Also focus on other benefits besides the scale. Like better health indicators/ bloodwork/ BP etc
