Start with a fairly open window 12:12 or longer. Work on getting the fasting part down and switching to healthier eating habits. Take your time and start to shorten your eating window as you go along. Try to eat as healthy as you can, but incorporate some treats so you’re not denying yourself anything. That’s it. No diet or sugar free drinks. No juice. No sports drinks. No broth. No fancy powdered mixes. No smoothies. Just water, black coffee or tea, until you break your fast.

Also focus on other benefits besides the scale. Like better health indicators/ bloodwork/ BP etc
