So I’m basically way to weak to fast when I’m eating a high carb diet, I’ve tried numerous times and i can’t do it. So I’mma try keto and then fast on the weeknd. I’ve betted my brother 150 usd on who can loose the most in a month. Any other “tips” or “hacks” that would make me win this challenge easier?
Are you drinking saltwater? That’s typically why it’s hard for people to fast. If you drink snake juice you can go for several days. I do rolling 72s, which has been beneficial for me now. I imagine as I get closer to my goal weight I’ll relax a bit to 48s. Also you probably need more salt then you think. I had muscle cramps and dizziness because I wasn’t taking enough sodium and potassium. I’m currently around 4000mg of sodium and 7000mg of potassium.
Drink snake juice while doing keto. I would advise against dirty keto, but that’s just me. Cheese and other processed foods cause inflammation in most, I think. It does in me. And inflammation will stall weight loss.
Thats a good plan. Go into ketosis, then go to omad (one meal a day) then start the longer fasts. Get so.e ketostix to ensure you are in ketosis. At the start you’ll likely eat food you didn’t realise had so many carbs, so keto stix will help keep things in check.
