I’m starting my first fast tomorrow - I am aiming to do a week only drinking water and using multivitamins. I am a 21 yo man weighing about 185 at 6 foot and I’m also planning to exercise once a day (running) throughout the fast. If you guys have any hacks or tips then that would be much appreciated.
GL. I regularly do 16:8 and occasionally do 24 hours. It’s tough when I have to take care of a family and wife who don’t understand. I do suggest starting with a 24 hour fast first and see how you do…one week to start is kind of the deep end in my opinion. Either way I hope you discover something that works!
Based on what others experienced, I wouldn’t take a normal multivitamin while fasted. Apparently many of the vitamins are fat soluble, not water soluble. A lot of people also experience nausea, dry heaving, upset stomach, etc. when taking these while fasted.
