Starting new Dry Fast 24-48 hours

Broke my previous fast about 37 hours in. I felt great but I wanted to eat a bit before loading airplanes for 8 hours. Don’t feel bad about breaking the fast at all because it was on my own terms as I could have kept going but wanted to play it safe.

Before breaking the fast, I weighed 216.6 lbs. I broke the fast with a large keto meal of about 1,350 calories, and maybe 32-48 ounces of water. My weight immediately after finishing the meal was 220.0. My weight before the fast on a full stomach was probably around 223-224 lbs so honestly I’m shocked at the amount of weight loss in such a short time on a dry fast. Especially since I was already doing keto beforehand.

Will start the next dry fast starting now and will go for 24-48 hours with a goal of 36 hours again. I feel like this is a pretty good amount of time for me to be in a dry fast. If I do break it, it will simply be to switch over to water fast until I meet my goal time.

Answer

When it comes to a physical job I like to play it safe so had water when I felt like I needed to have water. Going to continue this as a water fast through tomorrow. I’ll switch to dry fast when I have a few days off. Apple Watch says I burned about 1,300 calories from moving today. Not sure that can factor in lifting all the bags. Weighed in at 217.8 lbs after the shift which works for me.
