Success! Phase 1 of my plan complete!

Got on the scale today, and was very pleased to find that after four months of IF, I’ve lost 33lbs, or also what my 3yo daughter weighs!

The wife has been super supportive of all this, and says it’s nice to be able to fit her arms all the way around me again.

I started out with 16:8 IF, but by mid September was fully switched over to 18:6, and have dabbled with the occasional OMAD day since early November. The constant is that I’ve been doing this 5 days a week with a break on the weekend. I don’t go crazy, but I just eat a good breakfast, and limit alcohol consumption to the weekend.

Next step is to lose the equivalent of my 6yo son (55lbs) by May, which I’ll do so long as the blue line stays below the red line (above chart). After that, final goal is to lose 120lbs, or what my wife weighs!

Very excited this morning, tried on my “pre-covid” pants and they fit! A month ago they were still quite tight in the thighs and waist but now they are quite comfortable. So goodbye 44’s, hello 42’s. I still have some old size 40’s from “back in the day” that I am now looking forward to in a few months.
