Suggestion books on mindset/psychology and science

I find myself wanting to start IF but I fail psychologically to cope even with the slightest of hunger mental or physical. I’m not overweight but I want to do it as a challenge and to prove myself I can, and to restore my relationship with food.

Do you have any suggestion on books surrounding IF mindset and psychology with a bit of science as well?

Answer

I read Fast Feast Repeat and found it very very helpful. Provides a sound overview of the science behind IF and talks about hunger, how to manage it, gives great testimonials. Also I can completely relate— when I started IF two months ago I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to do it. I was someone who grazed all day long and was terrified of any feeling of hunger. Less than eight weeks later and I’m regularly doing 19:5s. Honestly just diving in and trying it is so powerful; you’re so much more capable of it than you think you are.
