First, get a blood test and see if you actually need anything. Even with an optimal diet, your body may be bad at absorbing certain nutrients and only a blood test will reveal that. Secondly, if you live in a country with long, dark winters and dont travel abroad to a sunnier country, then you may be lacking vitamin D. If I remember correctly your body can only store enough vitamin D for 3 months.Lastly, I like omega-3 but the science is disputed wheter it actually benefits you that much. And the only good way to get it in your diet is by wild caught sea fish that has consumed plankton

Answer

Hi, great question.

I believe in supplementing things even with an optimal diet to aid in fitness (if that is one of your goals).

Your best bet though, is to do some blood tests on vitamin and mineral contents and see what you can raise to optimal levels / near the higher range.

Personally I take:

Melatonin: Improve quality of sleep

Gaba & Magnesium: Produce calming effect, reduce stress and anxiety + improve sleep

Tumeric & Black Pepper: Improve liver function, reduce inflammation & enhance cellular repair

Flax Lin: Reduce inflammation and induce apoptosis

Omega 3: Optimize lipid profile and support blood circulation

COQ-10: Improve depression symptoms, support heart muscle, optimize lipid profile

Vitamin B Complex: Support growth & development

Vitamin C: Optimize uric acid levels

Priobiotic: Support healthy digestive system

Fiber mix: Relieve constipation

Vitamin D: Support bone density, immune system & other wide range of vit d benefits

Vitamin K2: Strong bone structure maintenance, Muscle function, slow progression of valvular calcification

Calcium magnesium zinc complex: Maintain strong bone structure, muscle function & valvular calcification

This is pretty expensive and not needed if you do not have deficiencies or issues. But I did have raised LDL and lowered HDL issues, along with inflammation in my digestive system & liver function due to my very unhealthy lifestyle (previously). This is done with accordance of a doctor and I do regular blood tests to follow up on my health.
