I do 18-6 (2pm to 8pm eating) and have been at it for more than 2 years now. As I am pre-diabetic, trying to take as little carbs as possible. I try not to eat sweet fruits as dessert (banana for instance). Any alternative for dessert when we get sweet cravings after dinner, other than strawberries matybe? Also, as I figured out, I get constipation when I eat cheese (I take cheddar), so not many appealing fat options either (olive oil is the only harmless fat left)?
I’m not sure about the carb content so I apologize if this isn’t helpful, but I really like plain Greek yogurt with frozen cherries, a pinch of cinnamon, and a tiny bit of almond or vanilla extract. I leave the cherries frozen, mix it all together, leave it on the counter for 5 minutes, and it sets up like frozen yogurt. Really hits the spot!
