TL;DR: I know I'm not doing this right but I'm looking for _guided_ resources to learn more. Also, tldr's belong at the top.
I've gained over 65lbs in the last five years and I know that's because instead of walking around in the forests and mountains for a living I got a sit down job and then the pandemic happened. _(I also legitimately think I learned to punish myself my gorging myself, not to mentioning substituting thc for tlc, but that's another topic altogether.)_
Now I find myself in a situation where I need to detox as quickly as possible and I figured I'd go back to my "trail schedule" of only one solid meal at sundown and homemade miso soup for lunch that I can drink from a thermos along with tons of water, green tea, and two cups a day of dandelion tea.
I just learned about the 16/8 breakdown before posting this, and my meals fits in that eight hour window, lunch being around 10:00am and evening meal around 5:00pm...but what else do I need to do? What apps should I use?
Currently on day two of this new routine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

I use the Fastic app. If you want to learn more about fasting in short, straight to the point videos, I recommend starting with Dr Berg on YouTube. I think I learned to punish myself during the pandemic too. But glad you’ve decided to treat yourself better. Sounds like you got a pretty good schedule set up. Happy fasting
