The 14:10 diet?

So I’ve been doing keto for about 5 months and have lost a good amount of weight. However I’ve been maintaining my weight and not losing anything for the past two weeks. So I wanna start IF to overcome this plateau. I was gonna do the 16:8 method but I realized 14:10 works better with my schedule. Do you think that will be effective for weight loss?

Fasting for 14 hours will definitely have benefits. Just not as much as fasting for longer time periods. As long as that’s ok with you then you’re fine.

I suggest you implement healthy eating, and exercise to supplement it since it’ll be a “shorter” fasting window to try and maximize the benefits

Aka mobilize and burn more fat during that fasting window

Simply having an empty stomach for 14 hours will be helpful for sure

I do 14:10 to maintain my weight loss. I eat practically the same amount of food as when my fasting window is 16 hours. If you’re going to break your fast a couple hours earlier, don’t add an entire whole meal to your TD calorie intake.
