The best fasting schedule for fat loss and muscle mass gain?

For the past 3 years Ive done 16:8 - 20:4 abd even OMAD. All the time I was loosing fat slowly but surely but I couldnt keep my muscles or gain muscles.

Im wondering what woukd be the best for an efficient fat loss but gaining muscle or at least retaining the most of it with diet?

Would 3 days water fast and the rest of the week in small caloric surplus (mostly protein and whole food) would be a good idea?

I think everyone’s body is differentI do OMAD and I’ve never had such muscle gains as i do now. I know they say your hgh increases etc, but I’ve def put on size noticeably in under 2 weeks, while slightly cutting some fat, I’m down 9lbs.
