The start of a 22 day fast attempt:

I am planning a 22 day fast starting Tuesday Sept. 6th

My current longest fast is 5 days, so I’m a little nervous, but I need to compete this in order to regain my lost confidence. I am FED UP with not being happy with myself. It is RUINING my life.

I will be updating this post with an update on my progress/how I’m feeling at 9pm CST each day. Wish me luck.

Updates:

Day 1: So good so far! Today has been pretty easy (as expected). I feel good. I have been drinking my electrolyte mix pretty heavily today, although it may not be necessary yet I want to stay on top of it.

Day 2: Today was extremely hard mentally, but physically I feel good!

Day 3: Today wasn’t too bad mentally, I started to feel it a little bit physically but not too bad. Pretty good day overall.

Why not 7 days first? Probably more manageable and realistic. Why go so dramatic? If you fail is it going to derail your confidence? Don’t set yourself up that way bro! Baby steps. A week is plenty impressive.
