This is incredible! I feel like I could fast for days!

I just completed a 42 hour fast and feel so damn good I’m gonna carry on. Last night was torture lying on the sofa watching the clock waiting to feel tired enough for bed, and desperately trying not to break the fast. Utter misery. But now this morning I feel brilliant. Not what I expected!

It’s funny how things are so hit and miss. Some days you feel horrendous then some days you feel fantastic. What do you think it is exactly that makes the difference?

Great job! Fighting to break a fast is the hardest thing to do and you did it! “If you can control your hunger, you can control anything!” Take the time to tell yourself how proud you are of your commitment! 💛!

I’ve been doing fasts for a couple of years now, and between hours 18 to 36 are generally the only tough part. After that, if you mind your electrolytes, boredom is the only uncomfortable part! You have unlocked a wonderful gift of health for yourself! That’s awesome! If you haven’t already, you should watch Dr.Pradip Jamnadas’ talk called Fasting for Survival. It’s so good! Incredibly informative and motivating. You’ll be chomping at the bit to do 4 days before you know it!

This is fascinating!! I have been wanting to try an extended fast, but I always hear people say that it will send my body into so-called “starvation mode” and it will inhibit weight loss. Can someone please explain? (Serious question)
