Those of you that do OMAD what time do you usually eat?

I’m not sure if omad is possible or right for me but I’m curious. How do you handle hunger?

Answer

With the family at 5-6.

Water + 1 tspoon of salt + 1 tbl spoon of apple cider vinegar + a squeeze of lemon. Keeps the hunger away for a few hours.

Also, it gets easier with practice. I remember first weeks trying 8/16 was tough, my first 24/48 hour ones were hard too… but it gets easier.

Answer

i started IF on the 11th last month. first week was hunger headaches galore but i think i’m pretty lucky that i’m able to work through my hunger/cravings pretty well. i either try to sleep more or walk more (depending on when i’m feeling hunger). i also drink 130-150oz of water a day. i started IF with ranging hours but my average fasting period is 21 hours and i usually just eat one meal a day and eat a snack or two before i’m ready to fast. today i ate rather early, around 2pm but i usually can wait until 3, 4, or sometimes even 5.

Answer

I handle it by drinking water when I get hungry, but I’ve been doing it for 6 months at least and I don’t usually get hungry anymore, I don’t drink coffee or tea and eat between 13:30 and 15:30

On week days im doing like a 22-2 fasting, sometimes 21-3; since I came back to the office I can schedule my hours and dedicate the rest of the time to work

Saturday and Sunday I don’t fast for 20 hours, mainly 16-8

Answer

So I do OMAD+, which is basically OMAD with a snack or small meal added. I usually have that around 3-4pm and then my OMAD meal around 6-7pm.

As for hunger, obviously having an additional time to take calories in helps, but I also eat a lot of protein to support my work outs. I honestly don’t do OMAD because it’s just too much protein in one sitting for my size. But as an added bonus it helps with the hunger too.

Answer

Personally, I fast between 23-24 hours everyday, doing OMAD to break the fast. I usually eat at around 6-6:30pm.

For handling hunger, I drink carbonated/“sparkling” water as I find it more compelling to drink (I have a Soda Stream at home). Adding apple cider vinegar and/or lemon juice is known to help keep the hunger at bay as well!

Answer

2 days a week I eat meals, the rest of the days I eat snacks. If I do more than this I will not lose weight. I eat an iron pill at noon, energy vitamin at 2 pm then a multivitamin at 4 then one hour of food on a timer a 6pm.

Tonight I had a bowl of Big mac salad, a 1/4 cup of mixed nuts, a single serving bag of skinny pop and a bag of smart sweets.
