I know you can, and some people do, live off Huel because it's nutritionally complete. I'm curious if anyone combines it with fasting. I hate cooking and find drinking easier than eating when I don't have an appetite, so that's why I'm wondering :)

My first meal after a fast is a “protein shake”. It’s vegan and contains a bunch of other nutrients. The shake isn’t branded as a “meal replacement” but I often supplement it with a spoonful of overnight oats (homemade) and chia seeds. I don’t eat again until dinner.
I find it so much easier to do it this way. One less meal to think about. Sometimes if my schedule is off and I eat a solid meal to break my fast, I then substitute the protein shake for dinner.

I’m on OMAD/keto. In addition to my meal, I’ll make this nutritious packed shake that I’ll sip on while working at my desk (I work from home).
My blender is a Vitamix.
- 2.5 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (aldi)
- 1 scoop of chocolate or cookies & cream isopure protein powder (Amazon)
- 3 tbsp chia seeds (Costco)
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts (Costco)
- 2 tbsp Anthony’s unsweetened cocoa powder (Amazon)
- liquid stevia to taste (Amazon)
- 2 tbsp sports research mct oil (Amazon)
- 7 tablets of dr bergs nutritional yeast tablets (Amazon or dr berg website)
- fill the entire blender with frozen kale - 8 cups worth (Aldi)
I’ll down my pill supplements with the smoothie as well
- 3 capsules of ancestral supplements grass fed beef liver (Amazon)
- biotin 10,000mcg (Amazon)
- zinc
- Nutrapro cod liver oil (nutrapro website)
I understand not having an appetite / not wanting to cook!!! This routine has helped make sure I get all my nutrients in without having to eat or cook so much.
