I have a supplement that contains 5 calories that I would need to take during fasting hours. Those that have consumed similar calories during your fasting window, did you see a negative effect on your weight loss?
I’ve searched and found threads that were back and forth with no real anecdotal evidence of seeing weight loss suspend.
Unless it is a pure sugar pill, it won’t do much. Dr Fung often talks about if you need a little creamer in your coffee in the morning and it allows you to extend your fast another 4-6 hours, those 25 calories will mean nothing in the long run. CICO still matters your body just does better at accessing existing fat when you have low insulin, 5 calories will not do much to your insulin.
