My son was diagnosed with adhd when he was younger & the psychologist wanted to medicate him. I was convinced it was food related. I stripped back his diet & reintroduced food back to him (just like I did when I was weening him onto solids) I found that preservatives was a big issue along with some (not all fizzy drinks, Pepsi being the worst). He no longer has adhd & I can cook all his favourite junk food from scratch without preservatives, plus on this is he’s always ate healthy even when he was eating what was considered junk food.
