I’ve been heavily considering doing a juice fast as I just received a juicer recently as a birthday gift. Thoughts? Good lengths for a beginner?
You’re not going to get many positive responses around here. This sub doesn’t consider drinking juice to be fasting. That being said, I used to juice a lot. My first juice fast/cleanse/whatever was 10 days. I had a very positive experience with it. I lost a good amount of weight, and other health issues improved as well. I would personally recommend starting shorter than 10 days. Maybe 3 or 4. Maybe check out r/juicing for more info.
We don’t do that here. This is real fasting ie: we consume no calories. For example, the only thing I’ve put in my body since Friday dinner is water w/ salts (electrolytes) and one cup of black coffee. I won’t have another meal until tomorrow night.
