Trouble sleeping during intermittent fasting?

CW: 210.8, GW: 140 One week IF 10 hr eating period 14 fasting (fasting overnight, skip breakfast) I’m having issues with my hunger ramping up really badly at night… even after I finish my eating period with a high protein meal/snack. I’m testing out having an unsweetened herbal tea for relaxation to see if that helps. But I have a history of insomnia/hypersomnia. Any tips would be very welcome!

It can take awhile to get into a groove. When I first started, I had horrible insomnia.😩 Then I went through a phase where I only slept a few hours a night but felt perfectly fine. Now I sleep 7-9 hours every night, no problems at all. Establishing a routine helps a lot… Good sleep ‘hygiene’ like no caffeine 6-8 hrs before bed, no screens at least an hour before bed, have tea and/or a bath or shower, read a book, that sort of thing. It can take awhile for your body to adjust, but I pinky promise it will 😊
