Hello!
I’m wondering how it is possible that two noodles of different brands Vifon and IndoMie (I can’t post a picture, but google), that are really the same thing - chicken noodles 60gr i.e. 75gr differ so much in calories.Vifon noodles have 40 calories per 60gr , i.e. 60 calories per 100gr. IndoMie noodles have 467 calories per 100gr.
Is it possible that Vifon messed up something w their nutrition facts or could the reason actually be the difference in type of wheat used for noodles? I’m really curious!!
The nutrition information for the Vifon noodles is probably for the noodles “as prepared”, i.e. with water added. It should indicate something like that on the packaging. Whereas the nutrition information for the IndoMie noodles sounds like it is for the noodles as packaged, i.e. dry.
