Typical OMAD meals

What are some typical meals you eat for your one meal a day to hit your daily calorie needs? I need some ideas. I plan to incorporate OMAD 1-2x a week with 16:8 other times. Thanks!

Here are a few examples of what I’ve eaten over the past 2 weeks (sometimes I cook something new, sometimes I just eat leftovers of whatever I had the day before)

It’s going to vary a lot based on what your goals and calorie needs are, but in general eat a variety of good nutrient dense foods. You’re trying to get all your nutrition in the day out of one meal, so it needs to provide everything the body needs. So less processed foods, added sugar, and other non-ideal calories. Sometimes that can even mean having a two separate dishes, like having a normal meal and also an omelet.

I typically point folks to sheet pan meals as being a great option to quickly and easily cook up some lean protein and non-startchy veggies. Pair it with a complex carb and use some good fats and that’s more or less all you need. Then just tailor the portion to your caloric need.

Answer

3 chicken thighs, .75lbs of cauliflower (boiled and mashed, mixed with heavy cream and cheese), 1 yam (baked with pecans on top)

1 poblano pepper split and stuffed with ground beef and topped with cheese, 3 jalapeño peppers prepared same, 1/2 lb of pinto beans

1 giant serving of eggplant lasagna (never weighed it, weights above are rough guesses), these are 3 different examples of typical dinners.
