Vacation on a Cruise or All inclusive Resort

This question is for fasting veterans, and specifically for those that have an experienced in extended fast.

Would you fast while on a cruise or all inclusive resort vacation? Will you have the willpower to do such a thing? I think I can since I have three years experience when it comes to fasting.

Answer

My feeling is, if it’s a vacation, you’re able to do whatever the hell you want with your eating plan.

I mean, you want to still be somewhat sensible, but if it’s planned ahead of time, it’s fair game to eat when and what you want.

Answer

I tried on a cruise. Had my game plan mapped out. Had to give up by day three if I wanted to eat at all the restaurants. Literally did not have enough meals throughout the holiday for that. I think I did twomad.

Answer

From what I have heard, many cruises have health-forward options- gyms and spas, lots of space to walk, so really it’s about your willpower. You will probably feel better if you can maintain some version of your fasting routine- but maybe a little less hardcore than your usual. So an example would be if you do OMAD, you could go to two meals per day
