Very sleepy and weak after 22 hours!

I fasted before and for me it was never a problem, always felt fine just a bit hungry while fasting.

This time though, when I hit the first 22 hours, I started to get super sleepy and I’m just laying down all day, I slept for 18 hours in total today!

One conclusion is is that I have holidays and I intended to take rest (I work a lot with my new business) so maybe my body knows that it can detox hard!

Would you guys stop the fast if you’d feel so tired and drowsy that you did nothing but sleep and lay down the whole day?

Feeling tired and sleepy is a blessing. That’s only the start of a fast. I would rather have that than not being of to sleep. Shorter hours of sleep and insomnia starts after a week of fasting for me when deep into ketosis but energy levels up again after adjusting period.

Not all fasting experience will be the same by the way. Too many factors to consider.
