Very small breakfast and normal dinner

I am curious about your opinion… I have this problem with intermittent fasting: - In the next months I need to take medication in the morning which causes me nausea if I take it to completely empty stomach. - it is nearly impossible for me to fall asleep while feeling even a bit hungry. Would it make any sense to have a very small breakfast like a hard boiled egg or a little bit of yoghurt before I take my medication and then only continue the eating period in the late afternoon until the evening? If not, how would you solve this? Thanks a lot!

Answer

Adjust your feed window earlier to fit in with your medication. Find out how late in the morning you can take it.

If you do 16:8 and can take it at 10 am, do a 10 am - 6 pm feed window.

You can do your option, but you will have a much shorter fast. If your goal is weight loss, it’s more about controlling calorie intake and, if you do that, you should be fine, even with a shorter fasting window.

Answer

If you ate anything it would completely interrupt the benefits of fasting thus rendering it not as beneficial if you were to go a full 12-20 hours whichever you prefer I’m sure there might be some type of supplement to help mitigate the nausea, not sure what but I would do some research
