Want to try IF but get migraines or heartburn?

Hi! Long time lurker. For a little context, I take adderall which has often made me an accidental OMAD type of gal. I’m never really hungry for breakfast and with my adderall I often end up not realizing i’m hungry till I’m practically starving, around 2pm. This usually means I have a migraine and heartburn or acid reflux from lack of food. I do drink tons of water throughout the day since I hate the dry-mouth sensation adderall can cause.

So I guess my question is, how can I do IF or OMAD without getting migraines or acid reflux/heartburn? I guess I’m already somewhat doing it, but I’d like to do it the right way rather than the accidental/hangry way.

Put an alarm on your phone to remind you to eat. Don’t drink coffee in the am on an empty stomach, if you need caffeine do something less acidic. Prep your first meal the day before so if you’re embroiled in smthg else when the alarm goes off it’s easy to grab that food and eat it while doing smthg else.

Maybe OMAD isn’t the protocol for you. One snack to settle your stomach + one meal to keep you fueled could work better.
