What do you want to do for the test of your life? Building a habit you can do forever is the only permanent solution (IMO). I can fast a couple of days a week forever, I learned about fasting from a 70 yr old neighbor who was fit and trim and had been fasting once a week for 25 years.. She looks 20 yrs younger… I will not want to skip sourdough bread forever so that answers it for me. But each of us is unique in our preferences and habits.
