Water fast fail

Female 5’2 SW 290 CW 274 So I started water fasting 1/2/19 and ate relatively good the days leading up to it. In the beginning I lost around 15 pounds. Now day 10 I’m actually gaining weight and for the last few days normal activities have me extremely winded. I don’t think I was drinking enough water and I read something about salt intake. I’ve increased my water intake to a gallon but I really need help as there is no info on this on the web…I want to continue but I’m not sure 😪

Answer

I gained weight from day 11-14 and then began losing again. This was during a 21 day fast. The reason we gain weight is because our hormones are FUBAR and the only way to correct this is with consistent fasting, Keto diet and depending on what hormones are out of wack supplements. I really recommend you do a Silva test to test your hormones.

Answer

Fasting is really difficult the first times. Each time is different and easier. I have Hashimoto’s and arthritis. I am not sure how that contributes but my first fast was for 21 days and I was sick (flu feelings/headaches) for the majority of the time. I powered through but haven’t done that long of a fast since. Lol I shouldn’t be afraid but I am! I was sick. I have done several 10 days fast and after the first two days I feel fine and really don’t have any issues other than shortness of breath when exerting myself. I believe I am still very ill with my autoimmune issues so it isn’t going to be a quick easy fix for me.
