I was just wondering, would I be able to play sports whilst fasting ? As long as I’m well hydrated with electrolytes etc.
For example, an hour of 5 a side football (soccer, for you Americans !!) ?
It’s some what intense, but I’ve usually played 2 hours and I’m fine.

The hydration is the tricky part, but so long as you’re effectively replacing water and electrolytes (mainly sod, pot, mag), there’s no reason you can’t play while fasting. In fact, some of the hormonal changes during a fast would HELP you, not hurt.
