Water fasting during work

Hi everyone. I’m new here. I want to start water fast tomorrow for at least 3 days (tried IF and OMAD before) for weight loss as a starter. I am overweight and currently on accutane. But, I can’t bear the side effects so I’m trying water fasting instead as I heard some people experience smooth and healthy skin during water fast. Also, I’m trying not to depends on drugs since it’s my third round on accutane. But, I’m not sure whether water fast is recommended when someone work with almost 10-20k steps a day as I worked as engineer at construction site.

Answer

I walk on average 10-15k steps per shift, and I have never had much problem with fasting.

Maybe on the last leg of two week fast, I might walk slightly slower but that’s it. I do get light headed when I stand up too fast, but I’ve learned to just take an extra second, and it’s second nature now.

Answer

I work as an engineer as a lab environment and I’d say go for it. All the activity and being busy makes it so you don’t even really think about eating and, at least for me, it seems counterintuitive but I get more energy when fasting and feel lighter on my feet and all that. Just make sure you have water with you and drink enough since you aren’t getting it from food during that time. Electrolytes are important too for multiple days, as that would probably be the biggest hurdle in staying active while fasting
