We are halfway through week 2. How is everyone doing?
Anyone crushing their fasting windows? How are refeeds going?
I have about 6 hours left on my 72 and work meetings are probably going to push me closer to 75 hours. We will see how it goes. Im currently down 5.2 pounds on this fast and am determined to not binge on my refeed. I want to roll this into a 48 and keep momentum going.
I made a goal of getting one 72hr fast in this week (several rolling 48s last week), I’ll hit it at 8:30pm tonight. Going to lift weights about an hour afterwards.
Feeling a little weak and hungry right now but I’ll make it through.
Since 7/11 I’ve gone from 273.8 lbs to 252.4 this AM, which doesn’t even feel real but I’m sure a lot of it is water weight. Still, tracking my weight regularly and seeing numbers like these is helping keep me on track.
What rate of loss is too fast? I’ve read something about gallstones forming from that. Also I feel so nauseous on the last day of my 72 hours. Extra electrolytes aren’t helping and my normal lemon ginger tea isn’t either. And refeed are hard. I have a small keto meal with mostly salad and I can’t finish. Almost feels like my stomach has shrunken to hold only a cup of food. First week everything was fine though.
