First time poster so apologies if I break any protocol. I decided today to extend my water fast into the new year. I’ve been fasting for 75.5 hours now so just starting day 4. I started fasting on a whim, though I have been doing 16/8 IF and keto.

This morning I was 149lb. My weight in January 2018 was 183lb. I have PCOS , metabolic syndrome, fibroids, and two small thyroid nodules.

I am taking Effexor for depression and have a tentative diagnosis for ADHD.

My goals are: Autophagy - hoping to rid loose skin.Weight loss - ultimate goal weight is 120.Mental focus

I don’t know how long I should fast since it’s my first prolonged fast. I’m concerned about fasting during the week before my cycle, but have at least a couple of weeks before that happens.

I went from fasting on a whim to thinking I should fast for a week. Now I am thinking anywhere from 14 to 30 days.

I haven’t had any issues except feeling very cold, but we are having a cold snap.
