So I really did some damage over 5 days during Christmas eating and drinking whatever I liked.
I jumped on the scales last Wednesday having fasted since Monday, hoping that the damage wouldn’t seem so bad if I got 2 days in first
I put on 4lbs which doesn’t seem a lot but I’m close to my goal weight and progress is slowing down a little plus I was likely heavier and gained more but didn’t wanna weigh till I’d fasted a couple of days first
I know a lot of what I lose/gain will be water weight but that was pretty disheartening. I know I say I ate and drank what I liked but I likely didn’t go over 2000 calories on any days - really can’t eat as much as I used to!
Just out of interest what would be the max weight you could gain not including water for eating that many calories?? My BMR is pretty low cos I’m only 5’ 2” so I know I was over but wanted to not restrict and relax
Anyway determination stronger than ever - Getting back on the fasting again -this year I’ll hit my goal weight!!
I’m about your height. On a lazy day I only need about 13 to 1400 calories. 4 days of 2k calories gives me an excess of about 2400 calories. Not quite a pound. The scale however would probably put me at 4 pounds just like you because of the extra water weight.
