What are different ways to get potassium in OTHER than snake juice?

Sure, call me a wimp, but I can’t handle snake juice. I have an extra-sensitive palate, to put it lightly.

Right now, to get my sodium and magnesium in, I’m taking tablets. 400mg magnesium once a day and 1g of sodium twice a day.

But for the life of me I can’t figure out potassium. The only capsules/pills I see have a max of 99mg. And isn’t the minimum 2,560?

I can obviously eat a banana, but that only cuts out about 422. And I really don’t want to eat 6 damn bananas.

Are there ways to mix in potassium chloride powder into an empty capsule or something I won’t taste? The other issue is how much how often. I don’t know about you, but I would prefer not to have explosive diarrhea, so I obviously don’t want to take it all at once.

Any tips for easy dosing, minimum effort, low taste?

Answer

I use a table salt like LoSalt (66% potassium) or “La Baleine essentiel” (33% potassium) lightly sprinkled into my glass of water. Over the course of one day, I’d have taken about a teaspoon worth of salt.

Answer

Make your daily batch of electrolyte water with salt/losalt/pottasium/magnesium whatever, and add in some lemon juice and cut cucumbers then sip throughout the day. You will get used to it and actually start craving it after a few days.
