E.g. foods like peanut butter.
nuts and seeds (more healthy without salt) especially:
-walnuts, hempseed, chia seeds, flaxseed (omega3)
-pistachios (more antioxidants than most other nuts)
other:
-avocado, olives, dates, oats
a little bit lower in calories:
(fresh) mango, chickpeas, edamame beans, pinto beans, whole-grain foods
Oil, nuts, nuts butter, butter, full fat cheese, chocolate, cookies….
It’s crazy how people don’t realise how many calories are in peanut butter and how easy it is to double the amount of calories you are suposed to eat in one serving just by putting “a tiny little bit more”
Since I have revamped my eating, now I am so in love with lower fat Triscuits, raisins, and provolone or low fat mozzerella. I could eat all of those with some mixed nuts every single day . … until I couldn’t poop anyway.

Nuts, coconuts and avocado. When you want high calories always turn to fats, but you want healthy so look to healthier fats. Look up and research all the foods with healthy mono, poly unsaturated fats and enjoy :)
Nuts butter, eggs, high fatty fish such as salmon (high in ALA and other omega 3’s,for example), mackerel, anchovies and small amounts of tuna. Try seeds such as flax/linseed, all the nuts and chia seeds. Add pure butter (stay away from plant spreads) and stay away from trans fat such a non dairy butter. Add avocados, seeds and nuts to your meals and add low fat meats
Nut allergy here! I can eat almonds and hazelnut but I can’t eat pesto that includes pine nuts, peanuts, walnuts, pistachios, or cashews. OH I’m also lactose intolerant. 😭
Can I get some non nut and non dairy related high calorie foods if anyone has some to offer? 🥺🤍
The thing about “calorie dense foods” is that, most often, they will be packed with fats (due to the very nature of nutrients, in which fat is 2.25x more calorie dense than protein or carbs). While Im not saying that fat cannot be healthy, adding too much of those “Peanut butter-like” foods in your diet may offbalance your macronutrient intake proportions, and that may be maleficial for you. So thread carefully around nuts, avocados and etc! My go-to are always complex carbs, but I’ll add some low-fat cheeses (believe me, they are already fatty enough) when I need to increase calory counts.
