Do you advocate for this? Have you noticed any changes in your bathroom behavior after eating oatmeal?
I like oatmeal with nuts, seeds, berries and Greek yogurt. It keeps me full for a really long time. No bathroom issues. A sudden and drastic increase in your fiber intake can make your gut unhappy though.
Personally I just started this habit after reading about it on this subreddit. Unfortunately I’ve had diarrhea the last two days so far, but I’m guessing it’s part of the process.

I never had any problem with my bowel moments. I have 1 to 2 movements per day regardless of what I eat, but It seems like my blood pressure has gotten lower since I started adding flax seed into my oatmeal just about every morning. My blood pressure was already healthy before adding it though, but I swear my top number has been down by 8 points on average after consuming it for a few months.
