Please write a certain variety like (potatoes) instead of writing a general group like (Vegetables)
Mine are:
1- Flaxseeds 2- Sesame seeds 3- Sweet potatoes 4- Avocados 5- Walnuts
In terms of how healthy I feel eating them? Probably
(Honorable mentions includes Brussel sprouts and asparagus. But they aren’t healthy anymore after im done with them.)
The list is very arbitrary though. Not really related to actual nutrient content. But I love all these foods. And eating them makes me happy.
Otherwise in terms of what’s actually most healthy. It kind of depends on what I’ve eaten earlier in the day/ week as a part of a healthy lifestyle. No food is healthy in excess.
1 Game meat (my preference is venison)
2 Eggs
3 Apples
4 Avocado
5 it’s a tie for either liver, low polluted fish or milk
All of these are nutrient dense, easy to digest (milk for some is an exception) and have been in the human diet for quite a long time. Meat, eggs and fish contributing to our evolutionary pattern for sure, allow us to have our brain structure.

That’s a good list.
If you live in the SE US you can buy a unique fruit during August - October.
Muscadine grapes are very different from table grapes. They are very low glycemic and very high in a ton of micronutrients.
All 5 gotta be leafy greens. Something like 1- Spinach, 2- Kale, 3- Arugla, 4- Mustard greens, 5- Turnip greens. These grass-like foods are just incomparable outliers compared to everything else in the world, it’s not even close. To have a fair list I think you have to combine all leafy greens into one thing. To have a list that’s more like: 1- Leafy greens, 2- Avocados, 3- Oats, 4- Blueberries, 5- Salmon. Similarly it’s hard not to have a list with a bunch of healthy whole grains like wheat groats, quinoa, oats, etc. Tempted to expand oats to just “boiled whole grains”. It gets funky because so many people misunderstand “whole grains” due to all the BS that’s marketed as “made from whole grains”, like, no shit, just like mcdonalds is made from whole foods.
Blows my mind some people have lists here without leafy greens. Y’all asleep or just forgot or what?
Worth mentioning: avocados, olives ( and its byproducts), beef (grass-fed), chia seeds, bananas, yam, sardines (wild-caught), carrots, nuts (specially macadamia), citrus (specially limes), cinnamon, cloves, peppers (specially black pepper), etc.
