Soaking berries or cherry tomatoes in some water with a little vinegar then drying before refrigerating will prevent mold and as a bonus they are clean and ready to eat. I think produce is often exposed to mold spores in the store or during shipping
I pour a hot kettle over most vegetables, i take an apple to work and wipe it with an alcohol wipe first.
Anything without a peel more difficult than that I just try really hard not to think about it…

Water make veg clean of debris. Cooking makes it actually clean and digestible.
