what can i eat during the fast for weight loss ?

i know it’s an irony to consider what food i can eat during fast, but still i am curious. other than herb tea, salt.. is there more? i read in the book that eating under 500kcal on a day is okay and do you agree?

I believe what you are referring to is modified alternate day fasting. It is called modified because of the allowance of up to 500 calories on fasting days, though ideally it is a crutch used at the beginning that you then drop as your body gets used to fasting.

As others have said, you’re not fasting. Overcoming the fear that comes with hunger is part of learning the fasting skill. I know it can be scary but to have a proper fast, you won’t be eating. I can assure you that those feelings and sensations aren’t harmful to you, though

If you want something to put in your system with minimal caloric impact, try bone broth since it’s nutritionally rich and might help you ease into the idea of going without food (nothing solid in your stomach but still getting calories and nutrients). Just be aware that most health benefits disappear if you consume calories. You’d effectively only be getting the weight loss benefits (and if that’s your goal, then it’s no problem)
