Im going to start keto next week and was wondering what everyone else eats and whether or not it affects your gains.
I browse r/slowcooking and find something delicious with a lot of beef or chicken to cook to replenish my amino acids, and then prepare the ingredients. On the morning of the last day of my fast, I put them all in the slow cooker and let it cook while I’m at work, so that when I get home everything is ready. Generally a pot roast, chicken tikka masala, tuscan chicken, things like this. Last me for 3-4 days then I restart a fast.
I’m busy during the week so I mostly eat ready meals which have easy to count calories to be honest, and stick to 2000 or less. On Fridays I eat fish and potatoes and during the weekend I have one healthy meal and one takeaway (the same day I go hiking all day).
