I was just wondering what exercise people do alongside the intermittent fasting? I want to get into the habit of fasting, starting on a 16:8 or as close as I can.
Eventually, I want to start exercising alongside, but I don’t want to go in too hard and end up rrgretting it.
I do:40 minute run + yoga combo once a weekweight train 3 times a week (one upper body session, one lower body, one full body), one 60 minute run once a weekone HIIT class a week (I do this after the full body weight training session)
I edited this to say I weight train to failure and go as heavy as I can in the mornings when I am fasted. This works for me as I feel like I have tons of energy and can lift heavy.
I do a little bit of everything. I workout at least 1 hr/day.
Every week I do cardio HIIT 2x, strength HIIT 1x, mixed cardio 2x, functional strength training 2x, and dance 2x.
I utilize group fitness classes and love them! I workout at the end of my fasting window, then come home for OMAD (dinner).
