Don’t intentionally raise your carbohydrate intake. There are very few reasons to do that. I’ll give a good example: CKD is the only thing that comes to mind, besides (possibly) the first stage of feeding someone suffering starvation. In neither case do you consider doing it on a daily basis.
If you’re on one of those high-carb, low-fat diets, then I would suggest thinking of it in terms of avoiding fat; as others are indicating, carbs are caloric - your question makes little sense. But in any case, those diets are pretty questionable.
That’s pretty much impossible as carbs themselves are high in calories, maybe unsugared plain cornflakes may be the way to go, but what do you eat that you feel like you need more carbs but can’t afford more calories? Maybe replace one serving of a fat heavy meal you have with one that’s more based on carbs.
