Answer

Nice juicy ribeye cooked to perfection, a baked potato with salt, butter, and sour cream, and a side of fresh salad with thousand island dressing. It’s one combination that will have me drooling and feel fantastic after.

Answer

I made this delightful potato and pea samosa filling bake today that was great, and I’m making pasta e ceci for dinner, which also makes me happy.

But also, on a more serious note, lots and lots of leafy greens really improve my mood. I try to add them in wherever I can - quinoa salads, the pasta e ceci, soups, stews, rice dishes, wherever I can wilt in a cup or two. And I find it helps with mood.

Answer

Any combination with red meat. It makes me feel good but I really don’t enjoy eating it if that makes sense. Don’t care for the taste at all but it seems to digest great and leave me feeling good. I only eat it maybe twice a week however.

Answer

Salisbury steak. usually I use fake meat because cooking with real meat freaks me out. Salisbury steak was always my favorite meal my nana made me, so eating it as an adult always reminds me of her. It’s also the first recipe I ever asked for, I was like 8 begging her to teach me how to cook it.

Answer

Cheese. A good cheese board, with some gouda and sharp Cheddar and crackers and maybe a salty meat like salami or summer, will instantly earn my eternal love and affection. And if it has some savory cream cheese spread, all the better…

Answer

Sashimi! I love just the slices of raw fish so much. Don’t tell anyone, but sometimes when I get sushi from the local deli and eat it at home, I’ll pick the fish out of the rolls and off the nigiri and just eat those.

Also, carbs! Especially mashed potatoes.

I was one of those weird people that ate oranges in the shower a few years ago (it was a small passing fad if memory serves) but it helped get me out of a deep depression that had lasted for months. Something about the smell taking over the shower & steam just lifted my spirits and put me in a better mood in mornings I needed a boost.

Answer

I love frozen fruit!! Specifically frozen blueberries, mangos, grapes, and even lemons (they taste like a lemonade icy poles!!)

It’s so cool and refreshing, with a really nice crunch (after its been in room temp for about 5 minutes) and it makes me feel super happy bc i know my body is getting a lot of the nutrients and antioxidants it needs, while im enjoying every second of it
