Answer

If your not in a calorie deficit you’ll either maintain your weight or you’ll gain if you are eating more than your burning. OMAD helps to lose weight by making it easier to be in a calorie deficit. But their are plenty of people (like me) who can do omad and maintain or even increase weight because they can eat so much in one go

Answer

Well, the BMR is not constant and will go up or down depending on what kind of food you eat, so it’s difficult to tell if you’re in a deficit or not (unless you eat a kilo of peanut butter every day, I guess). Ditch processed food and forget about calories forever

Answer

According to the research provided in the book he wrote, the obesity code, Dr. Fung indicated that consuming excess calories while on a one meal a day plan should result in weight loss due to the lower insulin levels throughout the day. At the very least, in the study he cited, insulin sensitivity was improved even in groups that consumed more calories but were on one meal a day plans. And the key to this is improved insulin sensitivity. People preaching cico have not read his books.
