I suppose your body will interrupt ketosis to consume the calories, but if the calories are few, ketosis should rapidly resume, no? A few nuts will not set ketosis back for 24 hours because you’re not really adding to the glucose stores, right?
Reason I ask is because last time when I did a 3-day fast, right after I broke fast, like an hour later, I had a serious case of diarrhea.. I cannot imagine the food traversed my system in an hour, so seems like that my digestive system was halted and the stool of my previous meal was just sitting there in my guts, and only released when my digestion resumed after breaking fast.. Having your stool sitting there for a long time cannot be good for you, right?
Hence my idea of eating some nuts to reactivate digestion, but not enough to stop the weight loss.. Does that make sense?
edit: some clarification
I wouldn’t worry about that too much, if you want to get rid of the “excess” stool, overdo salts, especially magnesium or sodium (your body will want to get rid of it, and you guessed the way it does that).
Lots of people have watery stools after breaking fast, me included (actually there’s a saying in the sub that says “Never trust a fart while fasting” and for good reasons :D)
I don’t think the body wouldn’t actually get rid of it, if it was a problem. I mean fasting was/is inherently a part of being human, wouldn’t think it would cause issues.
As for not breaking ketosis, basically just don’t intake any carbohydrate, so you might as well just eat/drink pure fat/mct oil if that helps you with the issue, definitely not breaking ketosis (but surely breaking the fast and other positives connected to the state)
Another option is to take some laxatives when you start your fast or do a salt flush. 1/2 tsp salt in a glass of water, drink it all in a couple of swallows and stay near a bathroom. Either way will clear you out at the start of your fast. Remember to start your electrolytes and stay hydrated.

This happens sometimes when I break a 3-day fast. But maybe it is the food rocketing through your system! Kinda like when you take off from work in LA at 2:30 in the afternoon and you’re able to zoom along at 70mph on the freeway—vs. leaving at 5:00pm and plugging along in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Just a thought—I don’t actually know.
If your only goal is weight loss and you’re not overly fussed about autophagy, the nuts most likely won’t even kick you out of ketosis. I do omad and the meal doesn’t even take me out of ketosis. Will it help you poop? That’s an entirely different question. Pooping is that thing that you never even think about twice when you’re young. The older you get, the more you appreciate a good poop. So I feel your concern.
