What impact would testosterone supplements have on autophagy while fasting

I’ve searched but found no clear answer to this. My understanding is that fasting puts stress on the body causing autophagy and so you should avoid doing anything that reduces that stress such as taking a multivitamin while fasting. Would something like a low level testosterone supplement (in particular a SARM) have any effect in terms of preventing autophagy? Or is that a completely different system so would have no impact?

Answer

You need a higher caloric intake and cholesterol to produce testosterone. If you take SARMs or pro hormones like DHEA but you induce your body in a fasted state, your body will produce more estrogen due to the pro hormone supplements and lack of calories and fat/cholesterol needed to produce testosterone. Source: I have done a testosterone blood test after 36 hours of fasting (no pro hormone supplementation) and it came up as under 250 which is the lower limit. Doctor was ready to put me on TRT but I declined because I knew why my testosterone was low.
