Answer

When a person is structuring their nutrition for the day should they take into account bioavailability for a nutrient or just total number of the nutrients in a food? For example, if there’s 300mg of calcium in a serving of cottage cheese should they add 300mg for the day or 100mg since the bioavailability of calcium from dairy is 30%?
