Many people in my friend group are raving about nutritional yeast, like Braggs brand or supplements. Is it really a good Parmesan substitute, or are the extremely height vitamin b doses not worth the risk? You can buy nutritional yeast that’s not fortified, if you’re concerned about excessive B vitamin intake. But yeah, I love the stuff. Great source of protein, and has a great flavor that makes everything taste better.
It tastes amazing and can be used in many ways to add a cheesiness to something or also umami to other dishes.
It’s a staple for a lot of vegans who have been eating it in bulk for many years with no issues. I wouldn’t be concerned unless you start eating pounds of it a day
